Junior Curling

The junior curling program at Bally Haly is divided into three levels.

Level 1 - Little Rocks

Is for beginning curlers up to age 9. Curlers are introduced to the sport of curling where they learn using the latest & best techniques with equipment appropriate to their size and strength.

The Little Rock sessions are Saturday mornings from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

Level 2

Is for beginning to intermediate curlers ages 10 to 13. This level starts with four weeks of lessons on proper technique followed by 2 Bonspiels & fine tuning lessons.

Level 2 sessions are Tuesday afternoons after school from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Level 3

Is for beginning to advanced curlers ages 14 and up. As in Level 2 there are four weeks of instruction followed by 2 Bonspiels & fine tuning lessons.

Lessons are conducted by & the program is supervised by qualified curling instructors.

Competitive Curling

• Instructional development of curling teams
• Friday afternoon for competitive team coaching & practices
• Preparation for provincial curling events e.g. Provincial Championship

• Preparation & assistance for other competitive curling events
